Heaven Eyes at The Dukes

A story of adventure and friendship adapted for the stage launches The Dukes family theatre season in Lancaster this February.

Heaven Eyes tells the story of three orphaned teenagers who run away from their children’s home and sail down the River Tyne on a makeshift raft.

Stuck on the mudflats, they meet a strange girl—Heaven Eyes—living with an old man called Grampa who some of the teenagers trust but who one thinks is a potential killer.

As tension mounts, an old photograph and newspaper cutting reveal the truth.

It’s a poetic and gritty story about young people trying to find their way in the world.

The show is presented on February 21 by Théâtre Sans Frontières, and is recommended for anyone aged nine plus.
