Z-arts Manchester

Z-arts in Manchester has been awarded £132,000 as part of the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund to face the challenges of the pandemic and ensure a sustainable future.

It’s another of 1,385 cultural and creative organisations across the country receiving support in the first round of the grants programme. Further rounds are to be announced.

Z-arts funding will allow them to explore alternative funding models, delivering the participatory activities for children and families through children’s theatre.

Meanwhile Until February 21 they host Big Imaginations, an online festival of theatre for children and their families over half term.

Streamed across theatres, libraries, museums, and galleries, it’s all low-cost or pay-what-you-feel to allow as many as possible to tune in from home.
