Almeida Casting

The Almeida has announced the casting for its first two productions of the forthcoming season:

The Lady from the Sea (Ibsen)
Claudie Blakley, John Bowe, Louisa Clein, Benedict Cumberbatch, Geoffrey Hutchings, Eoin McCarthy, Tim McInnerny, Natasha Richardson.

The play runs from 15th May (previews from 8th) until 28th June.

I.D. (Anthony Sher)
Jon Cartwright, Jonathan Duff, Alex Ferns, Paul Herzberg, Lucian Msamati, Anthony Sher, Christopher Wells and Jennifer Woodburne.

Opens on 4th September (previews from 28th August)

The intervening period will be occupied by the Almeida Opera season.
