Abooo Theatre, a company that celebrates parenthood in storytelling, brings The Replacement Child to Hope Mill Theatre February 20 to 23.
Abooo was formed nearly two years ago, by local actor and theatre-maker Clare Cameron, who sought to see more stories about the experience she was having through childbirth and parenting.
One of the scripts that found its way to Abooo was by Vittoria Caffola who lives and works in Belfast. The Replacement Child became Clare’s top pick for a professional stage debut.
The cast includes Rupert Hill and Julia Haworth who play two of Coronation Street’s characters, Jamie Baldwin and Claire Peacock.
As part of the performance week, Abooo will stage a baby-friendly matinée February 21.
