BalletBoyz will present the London première of Them/Us, a double bill from choreographer Christopher Wheeldon at Sadler's Wells in March 2019.
The new productions, which "ask where we see ourselves in relation to the 'other'", are both set to original scores. Them comes from the company’s own in-house talent set to a score by Charlotte Harding and Us is inspired by the Christopher Wheeldon duet featured in the company’s last show, Fourteen Days, with an extended score by singer-songwriter Keaton Henson.
Wheeldon said, “I’m relishing the opportunity to work with BalletBoyz again to create a new work that expands on my previous work with the company, Us. It’s a pleasure to be working with Keaton Henson once again after his music for Us inspired me to investigate a new style of movement.”
A co-production with Sadler’s Wells, Them/Us will be at the London venue from 5 to 9 March, 2019.
