Follow Me
By Ross Gurney-Randall & Dave Mounfield.
Directed by Guy Masterson.
Performed by Beth Fitzgerald & Ross Gurney-Randall
A multi award-winning hit at Edinburgh 2007. It dramatises the meeting
of Ruth Ellis - the last woman in Britain to be hanged - and Albert
Pierrepoint, Her Majesty's Chief Executioner, leading us into the
dark worlds of two killers in a tense, powerful snapshot of 1950's
Britain.
Tue 20 Jan - Sat 24 Jan @ 9.15
American Poodle
By Brian Parks and Guy Masterson, directed by David Calvitto and Peter
McNally.
Performed by Guy Masterson
An hysterically absurd take on the 'special relationship' from opposite
sides of the pond.
Tue 27 Jan - Sun 01 Feb @ 9.15
Adolf
Written & performed by Pip Utton
Directed by Guy Masterson
The Führer's bunker, Berlin 1945, the air is thick with betrayal
as Hitler awaits the inevitable collapse of Berlin. Utton places us
in the presence of an utterly compelling idealist and drags us helplessly
into his warped logic. But there is a sting in the tail.
First seen in Edinburgh 1997, Adolf is now one of the most
globally successful plays of the past decade.
Tue 3 Feb - Sun 8 Feb @ 7.30
Goering's Defence
By Ross Gurney-Randall, Guy Masterson & Andrew Bailey.
Directed by Guy Masterson
Goerings Defence gives a startling insight into a regime that
led to the worst conflict the world has ever known. Ross Gurney-Randall's
Goering is a terrifying incarnation... edgy, poetic and deeply challenging
showing how evil can triumph over morality when power is at stake.
Tue 3 Feb - Sun 8 Feb @ 9.15
Bully
Written & performed by Richard Fry
Directed by Guy Masterson
A gripping 'tour-de-verse' about one man's struggle against a life
of violence and oppression.
Tue 10 Feb - Sun 22 Feb @ 6.00pm
Dancing on Your Grave
The Cholmondeleys & The Featherstonehaughs
Three dancers join two musicians on stage as a five-piece music hall
troupe, dead, desperately downtrodden and travelling on a seemingly
never-ending purgatorial tour in this witty show.
Tue 17 Feb - Sun 22 Feb @ 7.00pm

Fresh from the continued success of his BBC Radio 4 comedy series
and recent run at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Count Arthur
Strong comes to Riverside.
