Big names line up for MIF

Yoko Ono, Idris Elba, Kwame Kwei-Armah and Skepta are part of next year’s Manchester International Festival programme, which runs July 4 to 21.

Each commission is set to offer a distinctive and very personal take on how we relate to today’s world.

Yoko Ono invites audiences to gather in Cathedral Gardens for the opening event, Tree is a journey in search of the soul and spirit of contemporary South Africa created by Idris Elba and Kwame Kwei-Armah and Skepta hosts a series of intimate and immersive experiences.
