- Marie Jones (actress and playwright)
- Betty Laine (founder: Laine Theatre Arts)
- Danny La Rue (drag artiste: honoured for charitable services)
- David Suchet (actor)
MBE
- Phyllis Margaret Dalton (costume designer. For services to the Film
Industry)
- Vicky Ireland (artistic director: Polka Theatre, London. For services
to Drama for Children)
- Margaret Elizabeth McCully (personal assistant to the Principal,
Central School of Speech and Drama, London. For services to Higher
Education)
Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones also becomes a knight.
