Taken from the true story of Tom Nabarro and his partner Ellen, this latest devised piece by Sketty Productions uses original puppetry and physical theatre to explore the lives of a young couple prevailing over apparent tragedy.

22 March - 16 April
Macbeth
Lazarus Theatre Company returns with another reworking of a timeless tragedy following their award-winning Othello. Using movement and music, the large ensemble cast will create an original setting, bringing a contemporary edge to Shakespeare's familiar dark world of witchcraft.

Casa / Magical Chairs
A Double-bill of Contemporary Dance & New Writing
Casa, choreographed by Annarita Mazzilli, is a theatrical dance piece, with elements of structured improvisation, a collage of still images and stylized sketches inspired from typical everyday life situations
Magical Chairs by Mary Mazzilli is a short play about childhood, magic tricks and musical chairs brings you a game of the absurdist kind, with realistic undertones and dystopic nuances. Can you take it seriously? Can you enjoy it?

25 - 28 May
UNMYTHABLE
The Greek Myths As You've Never Seen Them Before
Temple Theatre narrate, physicalise, sing and clown their way through all the Greek myths you've ever heard of, and some you never knew existed. The Odyssey told from a disgruntled foot-soldier's perspective, Orpheus the washed-up wedding singer, heroes, monsters and randy Gods combine to make this family show truly ... unmythable.

1 - 4 June
Barbe Bleue
A Devised Take on Perrault's French Folktale
Bluebeard had many wives, in succession, and killed every one. Can Louise turn the tide, or will she too fall victim to Perrault's notorious killer? The setting: a London artist's studio flat. The time: very early in the morning... Or is it very late at night? Louise is sleeplessly searching for inspiration, until her work is interrupted by the arrival of a surprising visitor.

14 June - 2 July
The Book of Disquiet
An Adaptation of Fernando Pessoa's Modernist Masterpiece
Part novel, part memoir, part philosophical meditation on the futility of living, Pessoa's Livro defies definition and endures as a testament to modernist writing.
The Book of Disquiet is here newly translated and re-imagined across three cities in three different moments in time by writer Mark O'Thomas, who similarly brought Dona Flor and her Two Husbands by Jorge Amadao, one of Brazil's most celebrated authors, to the London stage in 2006. Following the success of our work-in-progress showing last year, this full production explores the legacy and continuing relevance of this masterpiece by Portugal's greatest writer of the Twentieth Century.
