The Octagon in Bolton has announced the cast for its first full-length main house production, The Hound Of The Baskervilles.
This comedy adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic adventure, directed by Lotte Wakeham and adapted for the stage by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, will open July 1–August 7.
Salford-born actor and Octagon Youth Theatre alumnus Reuben Johnson stars as Sherlock Holmes with Simon Kane as Dr Watson.
Completing the cast, UK Theatre Award winner Polly Lister will play Sir Henry Baskerville. As well as their principal roles, the three also play many other roles in this tour de force.
