Derby Theatre is looking for a boy with a playing age of seven to nine years old to be in their big production for spring 2018, Jim Cartwright’s comic play Two.

Individual auditions will be held on Wednesday 17 January and Monday 22 January. Young people will take part in a range of drama exercises and games, and will be asked to perform a short extract from the script. Previous experience in performing is not essential.

The main rehearsals with a professional company of adult actors will start on Monday 4 February. Two will be performed from Friday 2 until Saturday 24 March.

Sarah Brigham, Derby Theatre’s artistic director and chief executive who is directing Two said, “this is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside two professional actors and to take a pivotal role in our next production.”

Parents and guardians can book an audition by calling the box office on 01332 593939.
