Two Bristol Events Theatre Bristol is hosting two events for people interested in or involved in Theatre in Bristol - a party and an Open Space event titled What's Possible and Who Cares? The Open Space event will bring together Bristol's theatre communities to answer the question: What's Possible for Theatre in Bristol? It might be a flexible performance space to rival any in UK, it might be international exchanges with artists across the world, it might be a festival for a specific audience or art form, it might be any or none of the above - the point of Open Space is: the participants decide. Open Space creates a structure for discussion where they set the agenda for what they'd like to talk about - an 'anti-conference'; a process which is completely democratic and without boundaries. Open Space will be facilitated by Phelim McDermott of leading London-based theatre company Improbable and will be held at Circomedia's church in Portland Square, Bristol on the 9th and 10th December. To coincide with What's possible? Theatre Bristol is throwing a party with music, drink and magic. Over 250 people attended the last Theatre Bristol party - this is another opportunity to meet new, familiar and friendly people from all over the theatre community, taking place at The River bar on Cannon's Road 8pm - 2am Saturday 9th December. Both events are for anyone involved in any type of theatre in Bristol, from circus to cabaret, live art to puppetry, whether that be front of house, back stage, on stage, in the street, both professional and non-professional.if you care, please be there! Tickets for both events and further information are available online at www.theatrebristol.net/ Theatre Bristol is a partnership between people working in Bristol's Theatre Industry, Arts Council England and Bristol City Council working to develop Bristol's Theatre Industry. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
