Buddy—The Buddy Holly Story will celebrate its 30th anniversary year embarking on a UK-wide tour, heading to The Lowry, Salford from January 27 to February 1.

The Lowry will also host a dementia-friendly performance on January 29 at 2PM. It will provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for people living with dementia to enjoy theatre with family and friends. There will be minimal changes to the performance, but audiences are free to leave their seats and return during the show.

The production will bring with it a multi-talented group of actor-instrumentalists, featuring Tom Berkeley and A J Jenks (who alternate the role of Buddy Holly), Jordan Alexander, Miguel Angel, Joshua Barton, Harry Boyd, Joe Butcher, Cartier Fraser, Josh Haberfield, Rhiannon Hopkins, Sasha Latoya, Hannah Price and Ben Pryer. Together they present two hours of live musical theatre, featuring more than 20 of rocker Buddy Holly’s greatest hits.
