Buxton Festival Fringe 2017 will run from 5 until 23 July, with online entries opening on 1 December 2016.

Fringe chair Keith Savage said, “this summer’s Fringe was one of the happiest on record. Now we’re all looking forward to planning an equally successful event in 2017.”

Over the autumn, the arts festival, one of the largest in England, will review the results of its audience and entrants’ surveys.

The Fringe annual general meeting will take place on Wednesday 9 November at the Old Hall Hotel, Buxton at 7PM. The event will include a half-hour question-and-answer session allowing performers, audience members and anyone with an interest in the Fringe to have their say.

Anyone interested in joining the Fringe committee should contact Keith Savage on [email protected]. Would-be performers will find specific advice for entrants at the Buxton Fringe web site.
