CBeebies’ presenter Cat Sandion will play Princess Jasmine and Birmingham-based Loula Geater will take the role of Slave of the Ring in Lichfield Garrick’s 2017 panto Aladdin.
This will be the second year that the Garrick has teamed up with Evolution Productions to co-produce the show. Evolution Productions is led by television presenter Paul Hendy and his partner Emily Wood.
Garrick artistic director Tim Ford said, “we’re delighted to welcome Cat Sandion to Lichfield to join us as Princess Jasmine. I’m also very pleased to announce that Loula Geater will be joining us, reinforcing our continued commitment to cast local artists. Loula is the most incredible vocalist and I know the people of Lichfield are in for a real delight.”
As previously announced, Sam Rabone will play Widow Twankey and Ben Thornton is Wishee Washee.
Aladdin runs at Lichfield Garrick from Thursday 30 November until Sunday 31 December.
