Catherine McCormack and Jack Monaghan lead the cast of Terry Johnson’s adaptation of The Graduate, a co-production between West Yorkshire Playhouse and Leicester’s Curve.

McCormack who plays Mrs Robinson has worked extensively in film, television and theatre. In 2000 she received an Olivier Award nomination for her role in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons at the National Theatre.

Jack Monaghan is Benjamin. He was in the record-breaking West End production of Nick Stafford’s adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s War Horse.

Director Lucy Bailey said, “The Graduate is a satire on the values and life style of middle-class suburban America. The world seen through Benjamin’s eyes is a heightened surreal version of reality, at times grotesque and absurd. It’s a coming-of-age play—painfully funny and deeply human.”

The Graduate plays at West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds from Friday 28 April until Saturday 27 May, Curve, Leicester from Tuesday 30 May until Saturday 10 June, Festival Theatre, Malvern from 13 until 17 June and New Theatre, Cardiff from 20 until 24 June.
