Northampton’s Royal and Derngate is to sell off some of its furniture and props as its scenery store is moving.
For a number of years, the store at 34 Guildhall Road has housed a wide selection of sets, lights, chairs, tables and props. Now the store is moving to a new site in a modern warehouse, making way for a creative industries hub.
The stage management and production teams have sorted through the props and furniture to decide what should be retained. Unwanted articles, including vintage and period items, will be sold at 34 Guildhall Road next Saturday, 27 June, between 11AM and 4PM.
