Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod have announced that their production of The Winter's Tale for Cheek by Jowl will tour to Brooklyn, Chicago, France and the UK.
The production will open at Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York in December then will transfer to Chicago Shakespeare Theatre later the same month. in January 2017, it will move to Europe with dates at Théàtre National de Nice in France, Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, Cambridge Arts Theatre and Oxford Playhouse. Further dates are to be announced shortly.
The production is directed by Declan Donellan and designed by Nick Ormerod.
Cheek by Jowl's production of Shakespeare's Measure For Measure will be performed at the Edinburgh International Festival in August.
