Blackpool Grand Theatre in February hosts Lancashire-based Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company’s new production of Hansel + Gretel, followed the same month by iconic musical Saturday Night Fever as part of a brand-new UK tour.
The timeless Brothers Grimm tale is brought to life in a modern take on the children’s classic. Combining music and film, puppets and masks, Horse + Bamboo has baked up a show for kids that is dark at heart yet coated with a sprinkle of light moments.
One of the best-loved dance stories of all time, Saturday Night Fever is being revived by Theatre Royal Bath Productions in association with the Robert Stigwood Organisation. The show features a 20-strong cast of actor-musicians and is packed with Bee Gees hits.
