New Leeds Company on Tour

New Leeds-based company chotto ookii are to tour their first production And Even My GoldFish from February to April. Using comedy, dance, physical and visual theatre, the production is a portrayal of one mind unsettled in time.

The loneliness and paranoia through which one man suffers creates an increasingly bizarre and fast paced world. As circumstances arise they become more and more unpredictable. Comfort is found only in the memories that have become stained upon him. However, as he soon realises, clinging to the past can become an incredibly dangerous thing.

"Chotto ookii" is Japanese for "just a little bit bigger". It epitomises, the company says, its approach to theatre, and has become a regular command in rehearsals!

The production will tour to

• Norwich Arts Centre on 2nd February
• Bath Theatre Royal ('the egg') on 11th February
• Upstairs at the Carriage Works, Leeds on 117th and 18th February
• Guildhall Arts Centre Grantham on 28th February
• Portsmouth Arts Centre on 7th April
