Cinderella group shotThe Liverpool Epstein Theatre stages the greatest fairytale of them all, Cinderella, bringing back traditional pantomime to the old Neptune stage after a seven year absence from the city venue. Cinderella runs from December 7-January 6.

Local producer Lee Kelly of LHK Productions Ltd said: "It's a dream come true to be producing the first pantomime at the newly-opened Epstein Theatre after performing at the old Neptune Theatre from age 14 and going on to produce there. I guarantee it will be a huge lavish show, one not to be missed!"

Liverpool's princess of 80s and 90s pop, Sonia, will take the role of Baroness Hardup, Cinder's wicked Stepmother.

Keeping Cinders' spirits high will be former soap stud and resident Liverpool pin-up Philip Olivier who will be donning his finest bellboy suit as Buttons.

The Fairy Godmother is reality TV star Nikki Grahame, breakout star of Big Brother 2006. Radio City DJ Simon Greening will be taking on the role of Prince Charming's ‘right-hand-man' Dandini.

The role of Cinderella will be played by local girl Alison Crawford who was a finalist on BBC's Grease is the Word. The Ugly Sisters are played by Brian Dodd and Michael Chapman and the search will soon be on to find the Prince.
