City fringe fest back for fifth year

Greater Manchester Fringe Festival from June 24 to July 31 is back for its fifth year with a variety of events for all ages—including drama, comedy, book launches, debates, poetry, puppets, live music a live art battle and children's shows.

Comedian Robin Ince, who presents The Infinite Monkey Cage on BBC Radio 4 with Professor Brian Cox, will be returning with a new show Fury, Joy and Digressions on July 12 at Soup Kitchen in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
