The Greater Manchester Fringe Theatre scene will come under the spotlight at a special event next month hosted by Creative Industries Trafford at Sale’s Waterside Arts Centre.

An invited panel, including The Guardian’s theatre critic Lyn Gardner, will discuss The Future of the Greater Manchester Fringe on April 9.

Fellow panelists include Francesca Waite, co-founder of Monkeywood Theatre, who were recently awarded the Stage Door Foundation Award for Excellence at the Manchester Theatre Awards.

James Baker, artistic director of The Kings Arms, Salford and Kevin Jamieson, executive producer of new venue HOME will join them on the panel.
