A Different Way Home

Oldham Coliseum is presenting a revival of its hit 1998 production which originally Roy Barraclough, A Different Way Home, early next year.

The Coliseum’s new production of Jimmie Chinn’s tragicomedy will be designed by the same designer as the original production, Celia Perkins, will star the original director, Kenneth Alan Taylor, and be directed by BAFTA-winning Noreen Kershaw.

It runs from January 31 to February 9.

Two monologues from a brother and sister tell a powerful story from two wildly different perspectives. Leslie, who has lived with his mother all his life, tells of the events leading up to her death. Feeling betrayed and rejected by her family, Maureen tells a different story of grief and isolation.
