Daddy Cools It

The Boney M musical Daddy Cool has been put back by four months to, according to producer Robert Mackintosh, "spend more time in pre-production in order to achieve the technical and creative possibilities of the show." He went on to say that the postponement would be "in the best interests of the show".

It was due to begin previews on 26th April and open on 16th May but last month it cancelled the first six previews without giving a reason. Now the show will not open until September.

It has now been announced (17th March) that the show will open on 6th September, previewing from 15th August.

At the Shaftesbury Theatre, it will star pop star Javine, Harvey from So Solid Crew and Michelle Collins of EastEnders.
