Dance delights for Chester

Dance fans in Chester can enjoy a wide-ranging programme of work from some of the UK’s leadng contemporary companies.

The season at Storyhouse begins in September when Candoco Dance Company, the internationally-renowned company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, presents its latest double bill, Face In and Let’s Talk About Dis, on September 18.

Meanwhile, the Olivier Award-nominated Michael Clark Company arrives on October 2 with its to a simple, rock ‘n’ roll... song triple bill of works.

Performers and dance stars of the future take their place in the spotlight on October 21, when House of Dance presents its annual production.

Hip hop meets Victorian underworld when Avant Garde Dance and The Place present Fagin’s Twist on November 2 and 3.

Finally, Stopgap Dance Company takes to the stage on November 6 with The Enormous Room. The story follows a father-daughter relationship as the pair gradually come to terms with the loss of their wife and mother.
