Darlington’s first season announced

The newly refurbished Darlington Hippodrome, previously the Civic Theatre which has now reverted to its original name, has announced the first season, following the already announced panto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which runs from 9 December to 14 January.

Among a series of music shows and one-night stands are:

  • 6 – 10 February
    Son of a Preacher Man
    Based on the songs of Dusty Springfield

  • 15 – 18 February
    Romeo and Juliet
    Russian State Ballet of Siberia

  • 20 – 24 February
    Blood Brothers
    By Willy Russell

  • 28 February – 4 March
    Awful Auntie
    David Walliams

  • 5 – 10 March
    The Play That Goes Wrong
    The West End hit on tour

  • 13 – 17 March
    Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
