Musical Dog In a Suitcase (and Other Love Songs) will open at Home, Manchester in September and then do an eight–date tour.

A re–working John Gay’s scabrous satire, The Beggar’s Opera, Dog In a Suitcase (and Other Love Songs) has been written by Carl Grose and has an original score by Charles Hazelwood.

This savage political comedy is directed by Mike Shepherd and choreographed by assistant director Etta Murfitt. The puppet director is Sarah Wright and the associate music director is Ian Ross.

The ensemble cast includes Rita Fatania, James Gow, Angela Hardie, Martin Hyder, Giles King, Patrycja Kujawska and Lucy Rivers, Dominic Marsh, Justin Radford, Ian Ross, Beverley Rudd, Jack Shalloo and Sarah Wright.
