Dick Whittington turns again for Nottingham panto

Old favourites: Nottingham Playhouse welcomes back panto stalwarts

Nottingham Playhouse panto favourites John Elkington, Tim Frater and Rebecca Little return to the theatre for its Christmas 2015 panto Dick Whittington.

Elkington plays Sarah the Cook while Frater takes the title role and Rebecca Little plays Fairy Bowbells in the story of a country lad who sets out into the big wide world to seek his fortune.

The rest of the cast is Kevin McGowan as King Rat, Anthony Warran as Mrs Fitzwarren, Natalie Taylor Gray as Alice Fitzwarren, Matthew Chase as Idle Jack and Jasmine White as Tommy the cat.

Former Nottingham Playhouse artistic director Kenneth Alan Taylor returns to direct Dick Whittington which runs from Friday 27 November until Saturday 16 January.

The theatre will be donating 100 free panto tickets to family support charity Home-Start Nottingham. It will also offer free tickets to a range of other charities across the city and county.
