Octagon Theatre in Bolton is looking to cast 12 young people for this year’s festive production, A Christmas Carol, to play a variety of roles including Tiny Tim, Young Scrooge and Little Fan (Scrooge’s sister).
Acting and singing experience is not essential, but there will be singing involved in the roles. Please note these roles will be unpaid.
The production will run from November 17 to January 13. There will be two teams of six young people for alternate performances.
The rehearsal period will begin on September 23 and, for the first few weeks, rehearsals will take place on Saturday mornings. From mid-October, rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays 4-7PM, Thursdays 4-7PM and Saturdays 10AM-1PM.
Two open audition workshops are being held at the Octagon on September 6 and 7.
