Dirty Dusting

A Night of Dirty Dancing comes to the Grand Theatre, Blackpool on Saturday March 21.

Featuring hits from the dance movie, it is a tribute show to the well-loved movie.

Producer Michael Taylor, said: “all the hits are performed in this fast-moving, theatrical treat.”

The show is not affiliated with Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story On Stage currently on tour in the UK and worldwide.

Nor is it likely to have any connection to Dirty Dusting which returns to the stage in 2015 with Crissy Rock (ITV’s Benidorm and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here), playing the Grand Theatre on Sunday April 26.

Gladys, Elsie and Olive are three cleaning ladies who are about to be ‘put out to pasture’ by their over-zealous office manager Dave. Feeling they have little chance of gaining employment elsewhere, the ladies have to find a way to boost their falling income…

Written by Ed Waugh and Trevor Wood, this production is directed by Leah Bell who updates this play for modern audiences.
