Donmar Autumn Casting Some of the casting for the Donmar Warehouse's autumn season has been announced. The first production of the season - Christopher Hampton's 1970s "bourgeois comedy" The Philanthropist, a response to Molière's Le Misanthrope - will feature Simon Russell Beale, Simon Day, Anna Madeley (who last appeared at the Donmat in David Greig's The Cosmonauts Last Message...), Danny Webb, Simon Bubb and Siobhan Hewlett. It will be directed by David Grindley and runs from 13th September (previews from 8th) to 15th October. Following that, the Kathy Burke's production of Sam Shepard's The God of Hell (which opens on 26th October after previewing from 20th, and runs to 3rd December) will feature Ewen Bremner, Stuart McQuarrie, Lesley Sharp and Ben Daniels. No casting has yet been announced for David Eldridge's new version of Ibsen's The Wild Duck, which runs from December to February, but it is known that Ian McKellen will star in the February/April production, Mark Ravenhill's The Cut. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
