Michael Grandage

Donmar Secure and Growing

Michael Grandage, artistic director of the Donmar Warehouse, has announced that the theatre has bought the 125 year lease on the building, which is currently held by ATG whose lease runs out in nie years. At the same time, he announced a residence for Donmar productions at Wyndham's Theatre from next September.

With the future of the theatre as secure as it can be, he also reaffirmed his own commitment to the theatre and will not be seeking freelance work.

He went on to announce future plans, which include Jude Law as Hamlet directed by Kenneth Branagh, Derek Jacobi in Twelfth Night, and work by Tom Stoppard and David Greig.
