Peter Doran, artistic director and chief executive of Milford Haven's Torch Theatre, has won the Theatrical Management Association's Manager of the Year award. He was in competition with Alison Fellows (production manager at Watford Palace) and Rachel Miller (Manchester area general manager, Clear Channel Entertainment). The Torch's chairman, Tim Arthur, spoke of "the fantastic work that Peter has been doing not only this year but for the past eight years; its wonderful that his work is now being more widely recognised. Anyone who saw Peters recent production of Dead Funny will know how lucky we are to have him at The Torch; on top of his artistic skills hes also a great manager and has secured almost all of the funding for our £5.2 million development." Doran himself emphasised that the commitment and support he receives from his staff, Board Members and supporters, had enabled him to achieve the award. Please note that all three Archive indices are very long and will therefore take some time to download.
