The story of Angels, one of the UK's most famous costumiers, will be told in a new interactive exhibition, Dressed by Angels, at The Old Truman Brewery.

Angels Costumiers has been supplying costumes for stage, film and TV for 175 years. More than 100 costumes have been selected for the exhibition, some made to be worn by Fred Astaire, Noël Coward, Laurence Olivier, Tom Baker, Judi Dench, Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep.

There will be interactive elements to the exhibition, including digital games, measurement tapes and forms and how to use them, interactive media displays and a workshop room where visitors can learn the craft of costume creation from design to finished product.

Dressed by Angels will be at The Old Truman Brewery from 2 October 2015 to 3 January 2016. Tickets are on sale from Friday 17 July from dressedbyangels.co.uk.
