Doctor Who on Tour A live Doctor Who stage show is to tour to nine UK arena venues later this year. Featuring Daleks, Cybermen, the Weeping Angels, Judoon and Oods, it will start in wartime London and finish with an "epic on-stage battle". Neither the current Doctor (Matt Smith) nor his sidekick Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) will apear on stage but they will feature in specially filmed scenes. Doctor Who Live will feature special FX, optical illusions and spectacular pyrotechnics building to an epic finale. Specially edited video clips, drawn from the TV Programme, will be shown on a massive screen and accompanied by the music of longtime Doctor Who composer Murray Gold. These scores will be performed by a 16 piece orchestra live on stage. The show's story has been developed by executive producer Steven Moffatwho said, "This is everything I ever wanted since I was 11. A live show, with all the coolest Doctor Who monsters, a proper story, and brand new screen material for Matt Smith's Doctor! I'll be writing scenes for it, and probably attending every single night!" Tour details
