Spring at the Dukes The Dukes in Lancaster has announced its spring 2012 season, which only includes one homegrown production, a revival of its production of Richard Shannon's Sabbat about Alice Nutter and the Pendle witch trials in the seventeenth century. Visiting productions include Northern Broadsides with Shakespeare's Love Labours Lost, the Octagon Theatre, Bolton's production of Bill Naughton's classic 60s comedy Alfie, Oldham Coliseum's The Hound of the Baskervilles and Spymonkey's Oedipussy. Theatre for children includes Snow Play, Opera North's Cautionary Tales and The Forest through a partnership with LICA in Lancaster. There will be a chance to see Lenny Henry in A Comedy of Errors live from the National Theatre on the big screen courtesy of NT Live, and The Dukes youth theatre groups will perform Shhh! in Lancaster Library and The Unsociables in the theatre's own The Rake theatre and education space.
