Beauty and the Beast
A scene from Jemima Levick's last production at Dundee Rep, Beauty and the Beast

New Associate at Dundee

Dundee Rep Theatre has announced the appointment of Jemima Levick as Associate Director.

She has most recently worked as a freelance director, directing Moonwalking and Killing Brando at the Oran Mor and The Glass Menagerie at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in 2008. She also spent time as Workshop Director at the National Theatre of Scotland. Jemima also directed the critically acclaimed Beauty and the Beast, Dundee Rep's Christmas production in 2008.

Dundee Rep Theatre's Artistic Director/Chief Executive James Brining said, "We are delighted that Jemima Levick is joining the team at the Rep. Her work directing the Ensemble in Beauty and the Beast was outstanding and I am very much looking forward to her further contribution to the Ensemble and the theatre."

Jemima Levick said, "I am thrilled to be joining the Dundee Rep with its incredible international reputation. As a student at Queen Margaret I always came to see the Ensemble productions in Dundee and respected the work the company did. I've watched the Ensemble grow over the years and I'm delighted to be part of this unique company."

She takes up this new post in June
