Enjoy, or Your Money Back

Enjoy the show, or you can have you money back: that's the offer being made to audiences at Edinburgh's Festival and King's Theatres.

Aimed at attracting new audiences who are, in the words of John Stalker, chief executive of the Festival City Theatres Trust, "a bit nervous about going to the theatre", the experiment is being tried for a limited time.

Those who wish to claim their money back must go to the box office before the end of the interval, but the Trust is confident that few will take up the offer of a refund.

The current season (please note: all productions may not be part of the new offer) includes:

At the Festival Theatre
Merce Cunningham Dance Company (29th-30th Oct)
Joseph (1st - 6th Nov)
Rambert Dance Company (10th - 12th Nov)
Richard Alston Dance Company (16th Nov)
Cirque Eloize (23rd - 27th Nov)
Scottish Opera Tosca (30th Nov - 11th Dec)
Kiss Me, Kate (14th - 31st Dec)

At the King's Theatre
Ninagawa's Hamlet (26th - 30th Oct)
The Crucible (Birmingham Rep) (2nd - 6th Nov)
Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings (9th - 13th Nov)
Aladdin (27th Nov - 16th Jan)
