BTG Fringe Participants

BTG reviewers are not just reviewers: many are involved in the performance side of theatre too and some have shows at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

Edinburgh reviewer Rachel Lynn Brody's play Mousewings will be at Bedlam in week three, running from 12.30-13.30 but it isn't in the programme because she was contacted at the last minute.

Our Paris correspondent John Walton produces and performs in Potato, which, he tells us, is "a cheeky, comic cabaret that catapults the audience through sixty minutes of fast and furious mayhem: Satan discusses the future of architecture, a Californian beach bum expounds his political ideology and Hitler does the housework. Meanwhile the royal family bicker over fresh marital problems and Al-Qaeda reveal their latest advertising campaign… A sumptuous feast of the bizarre and surreal."

Potato is at Assembly @ Hill Street Theatre from 5th to 27th August (no performance 14th, previews 3rd & 4th August) at 22.05 and lasts for one hour.

Leeds reviewer Ray Brown and his company Normal Productions presents Vacant Possession, Ray's latest play which he also directs, at C cubed from 2nd to 27th August at 15.00.

Gary wants Joe's house. To get it, he must assist Joe's suicide, look after his sex doll and get a job. "You have to pay morgages back." The play lasts 75 minutes.
