Dateline: 16th February, 2006 An Edinburgh Hotbed A brand new writing showcase will launch in Edinburgh this May - The Hotbed. The Hotbed aims to bring people together from across the dramatic arts industry, generating more awareness and support for new writing in Scotland. It will be hosting regular performance evenings in central Edinburgh from May onwards, incorporating live readings, performances, music, discussions etc, and combining a variety of disciplines. Playwrights, actors, screenwriters, musicians, radio dramatists, directors, technicians, producers, or those who simply dream of making a difference, the organisers want to hear from them all. You do not have to be an established writer to contribute to the Hotbed. If you possess passion and you want to collaborate on one of this new event in Scotland, contact organiser Adma Tomkins at aptomkins73@yahoo.co.uk.
