Edinburgh's Lyceum 2011/2012 Season

Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum has announced its new season, which comprises eight plays, four world premieres, three co-productions and an Edinburgh Fringe show.

The Fringe show, which will run at the Traverse from 4th to 28th August, is Wondrous Flitting, written and directed by the Lyceum's artistic director Mark Thomson, inspired by the book The Secret Lives of Buildings by Ed Hollis.

Mark Thomson said, "I’m thrilled that as well as hosting work for the Edinburgh International Festival, the Lyceum Theatre is also presenting our own work as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We’re very excited to be performing Wondrous Flitting, at the home of our neighbours, the Traverse Theatre."

The season will open with the already announced co-production with Dundee Rep (see our news story of 21st April), Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off by Liz Lochhead which is directed by Tony Cownie.
