The Pleasance - Edinburgh 2003
The Pleasance, one of the Edinburgh Fringe's Big Three venues, has
announced details of its 2003 programme.
- The Reduced Shakespeare Company - London's West End's longest running
comedy stars ever - in a brand new comedy digest of All the Great
Books;
- the Clod Ensemble in a Keaton and Chaplin inspired piano-accompanied
new production called Greed;
- Pauline Goldsmith in the 2002 smash-hit wickedly funny wake Bright
Colours Only;
- the London Fringe sensation The Vegemite Tales in its Edinburgh
debut;
- Jonathan Hall's (double Fringe first winner) porn-industry exposé
Hardcore;
- the gentle story-telling emotion of 2002 Fringe First winner Julian
Garner's Cyril's Little Moments of Weakness and Strength;
- Ridiculusmus;
- Lip Service;
- Bristol Express;
- new Complicite-trained physical theatre company Quiconque (Hideaway);
- Total Theatre Award winners 2003 Wishbone (Interference);
- Theatre Royal Bath Productions present writer Jane Brodie's new
play Hilt.
- Theatre Absolute (double Fringe First winners and Time Out Best
New Play Award for Car) in Kid, the last of Chris O'Connell's
stunning street trilogy;
- The Riot Group (double Fringe First winners, Herald Angel winners
and Stage Acting Award nominees 2002 for Victory at the Dirt Palace)
in Pugilist Specialist;
- Unlimited Theatre in their multi-award winning Neutrino.
