EIF 2004 Programme Launched
The Edinburgh International Festival has announced its programme for
2004. Running from 15th August to 5th September, the Festival features
160 performances of 111 different events.
Launching the programme, EIF Brian McMaster said, "Every day from
eleven in the morning to late at night you can experience some of the
most exciting and innovative artists and companies in the world, from
Hanover Opera to a one woman show from Beirut, from an in-depth look
at the great choreographer Antony Tudor to Akram Khan's latest dance
work. The joy of the Festival is the joy of new discoveries, and we
hope that we have created a programme which encourages Festival veterans
and first timers alike to dive in and enjoy new experiences."
