Now in its fifth year, the Emerge Festival (C-12 Dance Theatre) is inviting applications of new works from choreographers and practitioners with a variety of experience and backgrounds.
The festival this year is two weeks long rather than the usual three, running from 8 to 19 November.
Each selected choreographer will receive choreographic, lighting and marketing support and his or her work will be performed for five consecutive nights, plus there will be one-to-one sessions with producer Adam Towndrow on touring.
Since the first Emerge Festival in 2012, it has engaged 53 choreographers and 72 performers. C-12 Dance Theatre premières its new show at the Wilderness Festival on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August.
