Ahead of a full album launch later this month, English National Ballet Philharmonic has released a single of music from the ballet Raymonda, which features a score by Alexander Glazunov, on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms. The full album will feature 11 tracks, released on Tuesday 30 November.

Tamara Rojo, ENB's Artistic Director, said, “it is difficult to describe Glazunov’s music for this ballet because it is genuinely exquisite and overwhelming. There are some pieces that are so absolutely beautiful, full of colour and folklore and there are also extraordinary grand waltzes, so it is a very moving and evocative score.”

This latest release from English National Ballet Philharmonic follows from previous releases of recordings of "Dido’s Lament" as featured in Laid in Earth by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and music from Le Corsaire. It will also present a full concert of ballet classics on YouTube, available from 7PM on Wednesday 10 November.

ENB's new version of Raymonda, reworked by Rojo to take inspiration from Florence Nightingale and the women who supported the war effort in Crimea, will be performed at the London Coliseum in January (13–23).
