English National Ballet has announced the appointment of Patrick Harrison, Executive Director of Cambridge Arts Theatre since November 2014, as its new Executive Director, commencing on 27 June 2016.

Before his appointment at Cambridge, Harrison was Director of Commercial Operations at the National Theatre. He is currently on Battersea Arts Centre’s Enterprises Board and Bristol Old Vic Theatre’s Trading Board, offering advice and support to the executive teams.

Succeeding Caroline Thomson, who stepped down after three years in April 2016, Harrison will oversee ENB’s planned moved to London City Island in 2018.

Thomson is now a member of ENB’s Board of Trustees. In the interim period, Director of Finance Pippa Adamson will assume Executive Director responsibilities.
