Following its run at the London Coliseum in January, English National Ballet will tour Mary Skeaping’s Giselle to the Grand Opera House, Belfast from 21 to 24 June 2017, making the company’s first ever visit to Northern Ireland.

A haunting story of innocence and betrayal and a timeless tale about the redemptive power of love, Mary Skeaping’s Giselle features some of ballet’s most dramatic scenes and otherworldly images. Adolphe Adam’s classic score is performed live by English National Ballet Philharmonic.

English National Ballet is presenting two versions of Giselle this season. Mary Skeaping’s classic production of the iconic ballet follows Akram Khan’s contemporary reinterpretation which had its world première earlier in the season and returns to Sadler’s Wells in September 2017.
