Ilyas Afandiyev's You're Always With Me is to receive its European première in the author's centenary year.
This first English language production of Afandiyev's 1960s bittersweet romance is presented in a translation by the play's producer, Sanan Aliyev, at London's Lost Theatre in September.
Ilyas Afandiyev was an Azerbaijani and Soviet writer, born in the Fuzili town of the Azerbaijan SSR. His canon includes more than 80 works, including plays, novels, short stories and essays.
Filiz Ozcan will direct a cast made up of Zara Plessard,Doug Devaney, Stephanie Harte, Karl Niklas and Helen Coles.
