Bill Kenwright’s production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita returns to The Lowry in Salford from March 14 to 18.
Telling the story of the wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, Evita has more than 20 major awards to its credit and an Oscar-winning film version starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas.
It features "Don’t Cry for Me Argentina", "On This Night of a Thousand Stars", "You Must Love Me" and "Another Suitcase in Another Hall".
Taking on the title role is Emma Hatton who played Elphaba in the West End production of Wicked. Making his UK debut is leading Italian performer Gian Marco Schiaretti who takes on the role of Che.
